This is a perfect example of simple yet extremely effective. There is so much character in the designs of the two characters and I love it.

My only issue is the background. I think either it needs a bit more going on, or just be brighter. But honestly, that is very small gripe because I really like this one.

I love the theme, the color choices are great, I like the use of lines for the shadows and details on the planets as it gives the piece a cool picture book feel. It kind of reminds me of Maurice Sendak.

My one issue is the perspective of the scarf. The way the scarf is positioned, it makes it look like the right hand is bending around the back and through the other arm. Now I realize its a scarf, but my brain was confused at the moment.

The art and visuals are awesome, but the angle is a tad off to me and in terms of the theme its a bit too ambiguous.
